Hey,

The RevDrive Operations team has been hard at work taking your suggestions and have made some updates to your dashboard.

What’s New 👀

  • Lead pipeline now allows you to view all your warm and long follow-up leads!
  • Google released new Terms of Service on February 1st, read more below about what we’ve done to make sure we can continue sending.

Lead pipeline (NEW) 🚀

Within the Lead pipeline tab you will now find your warm and long follow-up leads! Warm leads are leads we are actively communicating with and have found interest in your services. Long follow-up leads are often those that aren’t ready now, but will be sometime soon.

Functionally, you can see the company we’re talking to, the source campaign, and the latest contact date. Clicking one of the leads will bring you to their website.

Only leads from 1/17/2024 and onwards are available within this view. If data is missing, please let us know by emailing support@revdrive.co or your customer success manager.

What we’re doing about Google 🛟

Starting February 1st, 2024 Gmail requires that senders authenticate outgoing email, avoid sending unwanted emails, and make it easy for recipients to unsubscribe.

(You can read more about this on WSJ.com)

The new policies apply when contacting and sending to and from Gmail accounts, not GSuite. We use GSuite to setup the accounts we purchase for clients. Here are additional measures we take to make sure we can continue sending safely:

  • We don’t send more than 50 messages per day per email account.
  • We don’t send initial emails to @gmail.com email accounts (this is what the newest Google terms help prevent).
  • ARC (Authenticated Received Chain) setup.
  • SPF, DKIM, and DMARC authentication.
  • Warm-up every account for 14 days to mimic human behavior.
  • CAN-SPAM compliant.
  • Send plain text emails to avoid formatting guidelines and improve deliverability.

We send over 1 million per month across all of our clients and have an extensive track record of data to use as a baseline to monitor our email account health. Monitoring our daily response rates for sudden changes according to this baseline allows us to be "ahead of the curve" when Google changes their spam filtering algorithms.

As expected, the changes they set forth on February 1st have had no impact to our company-wide response rate. Needless to say, we are in the clear!
